En este artículo,  presento las ideas del profesor Ubiratan D’Ambrosio sobre la Etnomatemática, susobjetivos, su metodología, la relación entre Etnomatemática y Educación Matemática, la enseñanza delas matemáticas en aulas multiculturales, y sus comentarios sobre una caracterización de los trabajosde investigación en Etnomatemática realizados en Colombia. Caracterización publicada en: Blanco,H. La Etnomatemática en Colombia. Un programa en construcción. BOLEMA, año 19,  No. 26. 2006.

Esta entrevista  fue realizada el sábado, 20 de marzo de 2004 en el VI Congreso de Historia de lasCiencias y la Tecnología. Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Abstract

In this Article, I present the ideas of Professor Ubiratan D'Ambrosio on ethnomathematics, its objectives, itsmethodology, the relation between Ethnomathematics and Mathematics Education, the teaching ofmathematics in multicultural classroom, and his comments on a characterization of the investigation worksin Ethnomathematics made in Colombia. Characterization published in: Blanco, H. Ethnomathematics inColombia. A program in Construction. BOLEMA, año 19, No. 26. 2006.

This interview was carried out the Saturday, March 20th, 2004. In the VI Congress of History of theSciences and the Technology. Buenos Aires, Argentina.
