This text aims to discuss education in times of pandemic in the face of the fact that abruptly and without any prior planning, we, teachers and students, were spatially displaced from our usual classrooms to the rooms and rooms of our homes. As if that were not enough, we were faced with the challenge of quickly submitting to new ways of agreeing, teaching, and learning. Impotence in the face of this situation, and insecurity about what to do, and how to conduct academic activities, questions about what to do and how to teach remotely has occupied a large part of our time. From the perspective of the philosophy of difference and with the support of readings by authors such as Deleuze, Gallo, Clareto, among others, we advocate in this text that despite this chaotic scenario, it is necessary to create spaces to seek new ways of thinking about education beyond the pandemic. The challenge then is to think about how this event that emerges with the pandemic can be powerful in promoting political participation capable of generating new forms of government of life.
